For the second year in a row, the new generation DAF XB receives the “TOP light truck” award from the leading transport magazine Transport a Logistika in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The DAF XB range of distribution trucks has been recognized for its ideal combination of low environmental impact, outstanding efficiency, advanced safety systems and high levels of driver comfort.
The DAF XB series for distribution transport is offered with the efficient PACCAR PX-5 and PX-7 diesel engines (124 kW/170 hp to 227 kW/310 hp) as well as fully electric powertrains (120 kW/156 hp to 190 kW/250 hp) that provide emission-free ranges of up to 300 kilometers. The truck is available with a day cab, extended day cab and sleeper cab, as well as a special XBC version for construction work.

The new XB generation stands out for its high load capacity, unrivaled maneuverability and excellent compatibility with superstructures, which is once again confirmed by a survey conducted by the magazine Transport a Logistika among owners, drivers and transport professionals in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In addition, the jury notes that the XB series offers best-in-class driver comfort and exceptional safety thanks to a comprehensive suite of Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
