DAF Trucks has brought the new generation XF, XG and XG+ to life on computer and mobile screens with a stunning augmented reality application and full virtual immersion program – an industry first. Both programs reflect the slogan of the new generation of DAF“Take a step into the future”.
Thanks to the New Generation DAF interactive augmented reality application, which can be downloaded from the Google Play and Apple stores, you will be able to examine all the details of the new XF, XG and XG + on the display of any mobile device. Using a mobile phone or tablet camera, the software can transport the truck to any location. Put it on the table, in a park place or even in the living room. Users will then be able to view the truck from any angle, inside and out, and learn about all the details and features without leaving their chair.
Virtual controlby car
Together with the New Generation DAF application, an interactive environment with the presence effect of the DAF Virtual Experience was launched, which very convincingly simulates its physical counterpart, which is located in the center of the DAF Experience Center in Eindhoven. The virtual space offers users a showroom, presentations, chat and even the opportunity to register for a virtual ride on the new generation XG and XG +. Guests can also visit the DAF museum and virtual online store. More features will be added throughout the year.
