The DAF company received a large order from the armed forces of Belgium. The order includes the supply and maintenance of 879 CF Military four-wheel drive military trucks. The first deliveries are planned for 2022; the order will be completed in full in 2025
The order for 879 CF Military military trucks includes 636 2-axle 4×4 vehicles. These cars will be used to transport ordinary cargo. In addition, DAF will deliver 243 trucks with 4 axles and all-wheel drive 8×8 for various fields of application (dumpers, container trucks and cranes).
Unsurpassed off-road characteristics
In the work on CF Military military trucks, DAF closely cooperates with the famous Czech manufacturer TATRA Trucks. As part of this collaboration, a unique chassis concept with independent suspension and a first-class powertrain integrated into the central tubular body was developed. Such a solution provides unsurpassed off-road characteristics of CF Military and exceptional driver comfort, even when driving on the most inaccessible terrain.
The trucks will be equipped with PACCAR MX-11 (4×4) and MX-13 (8×8) engines with a volume of 10.8 and 12.9 liters. and power from 300 kW/410 hp. up to 340 kW/460 hp
DAF chose HIAB as the supplier of all hook lifting systems and loading cranes and VS-Mont as the supplier of tipper bodies. The cargo bodies will be manufactured by Porgest. A total of 352 CF Military military trucks will be equipped with a modern cabin with ballistic protection from TATRA Defense Systems.
Cabins made in Belgium
CF Military truck cabs will be manufactured at the DAF plant in Westerlo, Belgium. The engines will be supplied from the DAF plant in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The chassis will be produced at the TATRA plant in the Czech Republic.

All maintenance work on CF Military military trucks for the Belgian armed forces will be carried out by the professional DAF dealer network of 27 service centers in Belgium and more than 1,100 centers worldwide. Continuous availability of spare parts for DAF’s global dealer organization is provided by PACCAR Parts.
