The new generation DAF XB received the “Best Truck for Distribution” award from the German trade publication Truck & Trailer Welt (TTW). The DAF XB series has been recognized for its exemplary combination of low environmental impact, high levels of safety, efficiency and class-leading driver comfort.
The DAF XB series is designed for urban and regional transportation in the class from 7.5 to 19 tons. It offers low operating costs, high load capacity and excellent maneuverability, complemented by comfort and improved handling characteristics.
The model range is available as a day cabin, extended day cabin or a cabin with a sleeping place. It includes all-electric models with a power of 120 or 190 kW for transportation with zero emissions, as well as high-tech PACCAR PX-5 and PX-7 diesel engines with a power of 170 hp and more. (124 kW) up to 310 hp. (227 kW).
