Leyland Trucks, the British manufacturer of one of the DAF truck series, is celebrating the production of its 500,000th vehicle. The anniversary 16-ton LF 210 was handed over to Minoli at a special ceremony held at the DAF plant.
The DAF LF 210 is the first of four new trucks for Minoli, a leading importer and distributor of Italian ceramic tiles. Two cars are equipped with a PACCAR PX-5 210 hp engine. and pneumatic rear suspension for transporting high-quality ceramic products. With headquarters and distribution center in Oxford and offices and showrooms in London, Minoli has been buying cars exclusively from DAF for almost 40 years.

Minoli has been choosing DAF products from the London dealer HTC Group for several decades now and has received reliable and powerful vehicles, specially designed to meet changing operational requirements.
The increased demand for Minoli products, the desire for continuous improvement of efficiency and concerted efforts to reduce emissions required a constant cycle of investments in the expansion and modernization of the vehicle fleet.
Taking into account the new order, the Minoli fleet will include 14 DAF trucks. The choice for the LF, the UK’s most popular regional truck, is due to its best-in-class load capacity and driver comfort, as well as outstanding handling and unrivaled manoeuvrability.
Made in Britain

The Leyland plant was built in 1979, and full production started in 1980. Today, Leyland Trucks occupies an area of 86 acres, with an indoor factory area of 93,000 square meters. The company has 1,000 employees, including several fourth- and fifth-generation employees. Currently, the model range of cars includes the LF, CF and XF series, as well as the new generation of the best cars 2022 XF, XG and XG + – “International Truck of the Year 2022”.
