DAF Trucks has received an important “European Transport Award for Sustainability” (ETPN) for its new generation DAF XF series for long haulage. This recognition adds to the impressive list of prestigious awards that the XF series trucks have received, including: “International Truck of the Year”, “Green Truck”, “European Truck Challenge”. The ETPN award from the German newspaper “Transport” is another confirmation of the outstanding qualities of the XF series trucks.
The European Transport Award for Sustainability recognizes commercial vehicle manufacturers that demonstrate and support a commitment to environmental practices. “Transport” newspaper aims to show that responsible and sustainable initiatives can be very well combined with efficiency and competitiveness.
