DAF Trucks is expanding its new generation XB range to include a wide range of factory-fitted PACCAR bodies. These high-quality add-ons are designed by our in-house engineering team to ensure perfect integration with the popular DAF city and regional truck. The result is significantly shorter delivery times and optimal harmony between chassis and body, which increases the overall efficiency of DAF transport.

PACCAR’s body program has already proven its value in the UK, where hundreds of haulage companies order XB trucks with integrated superstructures every year. All PACCAR bodied vehicles are assembled on a dedicated production line at DAF’s Leyland plant, guaranteeing consistent quality and reliability.
PACCAR body program
PACCAR’s factory offering includes panel vans, awnings and aerodynamic options, with many options for length, height, width, lifts, lighting and more. All these options are available for the DAF XB chassis with a load capacity of 10, 12 and 18 tons.
A comprehensive solution
The new generation DAF XB series is characterized by exceptional manoeuvrability, driver comfort and fuel efficiency, combining this with a robust chassis with load capacities from 7.5 to 19 tonnes. Thanks to modern safety systems, ergonomic cabs (day, extended day or sleeping compartment) and a wide choice of power units, including electric models with zero emissions, the XB series is an ideal solution for urban and regional transportation. The integration of PACCAR bodies further enhances the XB’s appeal, offering a fully turnkey solution that optimizes uptime and operational efficiency.
Impeccable manufacturing quality
“We are very pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to order a fully equipped vehicle through the DAF dealer network,” said Bart Bosmans, DAF board member responsible for marketing and sales. “This factory body solution provides high build quality and seamless integration, as well as the shortest delivery times – allowing hauliers to get their vehicles on the road faster with maximum reliability. This is a great example of how DAF continues to innovate to support the performance of our customers.”
