DAF Trucks is celebrating another important achievement – the new generation of DAF XF tractors has received an award “Fleet Truck of the Year” at the prestigious Motor Transport Awards 2025 ceremony in London.
The DAF XF was awarded for outstanding operational efficiency – one of the jury members noted that the fuel efficiency of this model is 7-8% higher than that of competitors. The updated 2025 DAF models feature optimized transmissions, aerodynamic improvements and advanced driver assistance systems, ensuring industry leadership in terms of quality and efficiency.
Jury of the competition “Fleet Truck of the Year”, consisting of fleet operators, also praised the DAF XF for its excellent performance in real-world conditions and its appeal to users. Excellent visibility, a comfortable cabin and reliable build quality were noted, all of which make the XF an ideal choice for all fleets. “The XF continues to meet all the requirements,” said one of the judges. “There is a reason why it is the basis of many fleets. It’s a reliable, practical and stable truck, and drivers really want to be behind the wheel of the DAF XF.”
In the field of after-sales service, the DAF dealer network received special praise, in particular the DAF ITS emergency service, which ensures a high level of uninterrupted work for customers.
