The DAF company represents a new level of excellence for the European market with a new generation of trucks for highway transportation. The DAF company has completely revised the concept of a truck, taking advantage of the new European legislation regulating the weight and overall dimensions of cars. The new XF, XG and XG+ are vehicles on a completely new platform designed with future regulations in mind.
Since the appearance of the first generation in 1997, the DAF XF model occupies a leading position and is a source of positive emotions for customers and the embodiment of a dream for drivers. In total, at least 650,000 XF trucks were sold. These cars of excellent quality provide their owners with profitable operation in more than 50 countries around the world. Various generations of XF have been awarded the “International Truck of the Year” award more than once.
New generation XF
Today, DAF presents the new generation of the XF model. It features a fundamentally new cab design with a 160 mm longer front end, which provides industry-leading aerodynamics, maximum energy efficiency and low CO2 emissions. In the new generation XF, the level of the cabin floor is 75 mm lower than that of its predecessor. A large windshield combined with a low hood line provide extended forward visibility and industry-leading safety performance, especially for pedestrians and bicyclists. The height of the cabin of the new XF generation inside the cabin is from 1900 to 2075 mm, depending on the place of measurement.
New generation XG and XG +
In addition to the XF series, DAF also presents the XG and XG+ models, which set high class standards. During the development of these models, the advantages of the new regulations on the weight and overall dimensions of trucks were maximally used. In addition to a 160 mm longer front end, both flagship models have a 330 mm extended rear cab, providing a significant amount of free space for work, rest and sleep. The floor level of the XG and XG + cabin is 125 mm higher than that of the new generation XF. The practically flat floor provides the optimal combination: convenient access to the cabin with 3 steps, an excellent fit and an excellent view for the driver.
The interior space of the DAF XG cab has a height of at least 1980-2105 mm, which, thanks to the extension at the rear, provides significant additional space.
New XG+surpasses in terms of interior space all trucks on the market. The roof of the truck is also additionally raised to achieve an impressive height inside the cabin – 2,220 mm. XG+– a top-class DAF model with an unparalleled level of comfort and space, which has no analogues in the industry. And all this in combination with the best indicators of aerodynamics and visibility from the front.
Attractive and modern design
XF, XG and XG+the new generation is distinguished by an attractive and expressive exterior with a characteristic stylish conical shape of the cabin, closely adjacent body panels, windshield and doors that provide excellent aerodynamic efficiency.
The front part combines an attractive design and meets all regulatory requirements of the European Union. This allows for optimal aerodynamic performance and better safety for pedestrians and cyclists.
New generation XF, XG and XG trucks+have a stylish radiator grille with chrome inserts. A glossy logo plaque above the radiator grille completes the premium perception of the car. An air intake integrated into the front of the cabin complements the elegant design of the radiator grille, which emphasizes the elongated front of the cabin.
The stylish and elegant steel bumper has a composite shell and consists of three elements that ensure low repair costs in case of damage. A key design feature is the impressive all-LED headlights with distinctive daytime running lights and integrated cornering lights, which create a stylish look and provide unprecedented visibility at night. The truck’s good looks are enhanced by sophisticated LED Skylights, available as standard on XG and XG models+.
The exterior of the cabin from the side is no less elegant than the exterior of the cabin from the front. Refined smooth lines add dynamism to the car.

The new generation of DAF, which fully complies with the new regulatory requirements of the EU regarding the weight and dimensions of trucks, was developed with the main goal of creating a new industry standard for efficiency, safety and driver comfort, as well as the reliability and durability that DAF trucks are famous for.
