The new generation DAF XG⁺ won the title of “Best UK Diesel Tractor” at the prestigious Fleet News Awards 2022 in Great Britain. At the same event, the jury named the DAF LF the best two-axle lightweight rigid truck (“Best Two-axle Lightweight Rigid Truck”) and the DAF CF the best rigid truck (“Best Rigid Truck”). For the fifth year, DAF Trucks products have won prestigious awards at the Fleet News Awards.
Further success for the XG⁺ follows the International Truck of the Year 2022 award for the new generation DAF XF, XG and XG⁺ series, which was announced last November – and subsequent Truck of the Year awards in Portugal and Romania.
The jury of the Fleet News Awards highly praised the new generation DAF XG⁺. “The DAF flagship is a stylish, innovative and prestigious transport vehicle with the largest cabin on the market and comfortable conditions for the driver. The best truck with a rigid chassis
The popular DAF CF series of trucks for regional transport has been awarded the “Best Rigid Truck” award. According to the panel of judges, “CF is the clear winner in the heavy-duty rigid chassis category. This series offers the best all-in-one solution that meets all the needs of fleets in all industrial sectors. CF trucks have many advantages; these include reliability, load capacity, driver appeal, dealer support and minimal operating costs.”
The best light truck
In addition, DAF’s city car from the unsurpassed LF series won the title of Best Two-axle Lightweight Rigid Truck. “The LF dominates the UK 7.5t truck market and it’s easy to see why: reliability, competitive pricing and the best dealer support in the business gives fleets the confidence to choose this truck.
