DAF Trucks President Preston Faith will take over as Executive Vice President of PACCAR. DAF European Sales Director Harry Walters will take over as President of DAF Trucks and Vice President of PACCAR.
Preston Feight has been working for PACCAR for 20 years. His most recent positions are Vice President of PACCAR and President of DAF Trucks. In his new role, he will be responsible for DAF Trucks and PACCAR Parts at PACCAR’s Seattle headquarters. Preston has held the positions of director of product planning, chief engineer, deputy general manager of sales and marketing, and in 2015 was named CEO of Kenworth Trucks.
He graduated from Northern Arizona University (with a BS in Mechanical Engineering) and the University of Colorado (with a MS in Mechanical Engineering) and is a registered chartered engineer. In 2017, Preston Faith served as the Chair of the Commercial Vehicle Council of the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA).
Harry Walters is appointed President
DAF Trucks and Vice President of PACCAR.
Harry Wolters has been working at PACCAR for 22 years, most recently as European Sales Director. During his career at DAF, he served as Truck Assembly Controller, Head of Logistics Innovation, Head of Logistics Operations, Head of Truck Assembly in Eindhoven, Head of Human Resources and Operations Director. Harry Walters graduated from the University of Eindhoven (with a master’s degree in business organization) and was a trainee at Stanford University’s executive training program in 2017.
The changes will take effect on September 1.
